Historic Homes for the Holidays tour
Our annual Historic Homes for the Holidays tour is Sunday, December 7, 2014.
Tour seven of Council Bluffs’ historic properties, beautifully decorated for the holidays.
As the restoration continues, this year’s tour includes our own National Register of Historic Places and local landmark property, the Bregant House. A 1912 Craftsman-style Bungalow built for Council Bluffs’ “Little Couple”, Jean and Inez Bregant. Jean and Inez also represented Woodward Candy Company and were known as the “Candy Kids”. |
You can help restore the Bregant House…..
The Bregant House was listed on the National Register of Historic Places and designated as a local landmark in 2013. Our “Go Fund Me” site has been established as a way to donate toward Preserve Council Bluffs mission to restore and preserve this piece of history.
